I took a job as a camp cohost in Silver Mines Recreation Area, near Fredeicktown, Missouri. The following are pictures I took in March. We were almost flooded out at one point.

We are ready for some dry weather for a bit. It got close but we didn’t have to move.
Hopefully when our snow melts it won’t all flow your way. This coming week, supposedly, we could get another 18″. Then after Easter start a slow melt. Glad you are safe Wayne. Get some fishing in soon.

It’s crazy how high the water levels were. At least you weren’t staying in a tent!

We were very grateful we were in a camper. First time I ever had a camper. I miss my tent.

I love these photos, how you saw them before snapping. I believe Murph would appreciate these places (not the drive, but definitely the places)! He likes adventure, but within reason : )

Thank you. Yes it was a lot of water. The river crested twice in 24 hours.

I see lots of lizards on the trails but they are too fast to snap a shot. I always think of Murph when I see them.
