Mother Earth’s Beauty

If Rocks Could Talk

You carry Mother Earth within you. She is not outside of you. Mother Earth is not just your environment. In that insight of inter-being, it is possible to have real communication with the Earth, which is the highest form of prayer.

  1. Beautiful. Many believe we are one with nature. Remembering back to getting tingly feet by walking barefoot in new grass, or across stones at a streams edge….I’d like to think we connect with the earth beneath us, maybe even tickle it back. 😊

  2. “God is not the soul of Nature, nor any part of Nature. He inhabits eternity: He dwells in a high and holy place: Heaven is His throne, not his vehicle, earth is His footstool, not His vesture. One day He will dismantle both and make a new heaven and earth. He is not to be identified even with the ‘divine spark’ in man. He is God and not man.” C. S. Lewis
Talking to Mother Earth is not prayer at all; it is communication with demons.
While Christ-followers should be at the front of those wanting to protect “our Father’s world,” we must not confuse His creation with Him. . . or us.
